Three-Year Warranty on Every Project. In Writing. Transferable.
The state of Ohio requires a 12-month warranty. Most contractors offer nothing beyond that. We triple it — because we stand behind our work.
OUR PROMISE
What the Warranty Covers
Every project we complete comes with a three-year written warranty. It's included in your signed estimate before we start. No add-on. No upgrade. It's standard because standing behind our work is standard.
Covered for three full years:
- All labor and craftsmanship performed by our crew
- Material failures related to our installation
- Drywall seams, joints, and finishing
- Tile work and grouting
- Paint adhesion and finish quality
- Deck construction and connections
- Door and window installation
- Flooring installation
- Fixture installation and plumbing connections
- Electrical fixture installation
- Trim and carpentry work
What the warranty means in practice: if something we installed, built, or repaired fails within three years due to our workmanship or our installation — we come back and fix it. No charge. No argument. No fine print.
How Our Warranty Compares
| Most Independents | National Franchises | 1 Day Contractor | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warranty length | None stated | 1 year | 3 years |
| In writing | No | Sometimes | Always |
| Transferable | No | No | Yes |
| Hourly rate | $40–$80/hr | $100–$150/hr + fees | Fair written pricing |
The best warranty from any competitor in this market is one year. Most independent handymen offer nothing in writing at all. We give you three years, documented in your signed estimate, because we know the work will hold up. If it doesn't, we want you to call us.
Or call or text Mike: (330) 630-3741
Selling Your Home? The Warranty Goes With It.
Our warranty is fully transferable. If you sell your home within three years of our work, the warranty transfers to the new owner. They get the same coverage you had — same terms, same commitment, same phone number to call if something needs attention.
That's a real selling point when you're listing your home. It tells buyers that the work was done right and that someone stands behind it. Not many contractors in this market can offer that.
How to File a Warranty Claim
No forms. No automated phone tree. No runaround.
- 1.Call or text Mike directly: (330) 630-3741
- 2.Tell us what's happening. Describe the issue — a photo helps but isn't required.
- 3.We schedule the repair. We come back and fix it. No charge if covered.
That's it. The same person you worked with is the same person who picks up the phone and makes it right. No ticket system. No waiting on hold. No “we'll get back to you.”
What the Warranty Doesn't Cover
We want to be upfront about the boundaries:
- Normal wear and tear. Paint fades over time. Floors get scratched from furniture. That’s normal use, not a defect in our work.
- Damage caused by others. If another contractor, a tenant, or an accident damages our work after completion, that’s not covered.
- Material defects from manufacturer. If a product itself is defective — not our installation of it — we’ll help you pursue the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Work not in original scope. The warranty covers what’s listed in your signed estimate. Additions or modifications made by others aren’t included.
- Failure to maintain. A deck that’s never sealed. A bathroom that’s never ventilated. Proper maintenance is your responsibility — and we’ll tell you exactly what that looks like when we finish the job.
When in doubt, call us. If it's our work and our installation, we make it right. Period.
