We get back to everyone fast. We answer the phone. We call you back. If we’re on a job, you’ll hear from us as soon as we wrap up for the day.

For smaller, straightforward projects — sometimes yes. Send us photos and a description and we can often give you a ballpark. But for most projects, an in-home visit gives you the most accurate written estimate. Not every project can be estimated without seeing it in person.

Pricing & Payment

It depends entirely on the project. That’s why we give written estimates with every cost broken down — materials, labor, and scope. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying for before we start. See individual service pages for typical price ranges.

No. We give project-based written estimates. You know the price upfront. We don’t pad hours or drag out work. What we quote is what you pay.

In most cases, no. We start work with no money down. You see the quality of our work before you pay. The burden of proof is on us. Larger material-heavy projects may require a deposit — your written estimate will state the terms clearly.

It doesn’t — unless you change the work. If we discover something unexpected (like a deck joist that’s worse than it looked), we stop, show you, explain the cost, and get your written approval before proceeding. That’s the Never Surprise Guarantee.

The Work

Background-checked, drug-tested W2 employees. Not subcontractors. Not day laborers. Our crew members are experienced tradesmen who work for 1 Day Contractor directly. You’ll know who’s coming before they arrive.

Yes. We work one job at a time, start to finish. If your project takes more than one day, we’re there every day until it’s done. We don’t bounce between five jobs. Your project gets our full attention.

We set up containment before we start, lay down drop cloths, and clean up at the end of every workday. We ask about pets, children, and medical conditions so we’re mindful about doors, noise, and power. Your home will be clean when we leave — every day, not just the last day.

Yes. Daily progress updates — what was completed and what’s next. In person when possible. You never have to wonder where your project stands.

We do a full walkthrough of completed work before you’re expected to pay. If something isn’t right, we address it before the job is closed out. After that, you’re covered by our three-year warranty.

Warranty & Trust

All labor and craftsmanship performed by our crew, for three full years. Drywall, tile, paint, flooring, fixtures, decks, doors, windows, trim — if we installed it or repaired it, it’s covered. Full details on our warranty page.

Yes. If you sell your home within the warranty period, the remaining coverage transfers to the new homeowner. It’s a documented asset.

Because we do quality work and stand behind it. Ohio requires a 12-month minimum. Franchises offer one year. Most independents offer nothing. We give you three years because we’re confident in our crew and our craftsmanship.

Yes. Fully insured. Ask us for proof and we’ll hand it to you.

Service Area & Scheduling

We’re based in Tallmadge, Ohio and serve homeowners within a 25-mile radius. That includes Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Green, Canton, Hudson, Kent, and 15+ other communities. See our full service area page.

It varies. We’ll give you a realistic timeline when we schedule your estimate. Because we work one job at a time, our schedule is straightforward — no juggling, no guessing.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We respond to texts and form submissions outside of work hours and get back to you the next business day.

We handle urgent repairs as our schedule allows, but we are not a 24-hour emergency service. If you have a repair that can’t wait, call us and we’ll do our best to get there as fast as possible.
